Why Are Modern Aminos Products Labeled “Not for Human Consumption”?

Modern Aminos products are sold strictly for Research Use Only (RSO) and are available exclusively to qualified researchers operating in controlled laboratory environments. These products are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for human or veterinary use, including but not limited to clinical trials, therapeutic applications, or consumption of any kind.

Modern Aminos operates in accordance with regulatory standards, including Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), and restricts product availability to professional research applications.

Why does the peptide powder in the vial appear clumpy or powdery?
This is normal. Peptide powders may appear as a solid mass but can break up into powder during shipping. This does not affect the quality or purity of the product.
Peptides may take time to dissolve, especially if they are hydrophobic. Gently roll the vial between your fingers to help dissolve the powder, but avoid shaking it to prevent damage to the peptides.
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at room temperature for up to two years. Once reconstituted, store them in the refrigerator to maintain their integrity.
It refers to the freeze-dried state of peptides, ensuring stability for long periods at room temperature. Refrigeration is only necessary after reconstitution.
Most amino blends can be stored at room temperature. Exceptions like glutathione and NAD+ should be stored in a cool environment like a refrigerator to ensure stability.
Store in a cool, dark, and dry spot away from sunlight to maintain quality and integrity.

No, our products are not safe to ingest. All products sold by Modern Aminos are intended strictly for research purposes and are not approved for human consumption. Ingesting any of these products can pose significant health risks. By purchasing from Modern Aminos, you agree and confirm that you will not consume or administer these products under any circumstances. These products are for use by qualified researchers in controlled laboratory environments only.
While there is plenty of information online about MOTS-C, we do not provide research or usage guidance as those go against multiple laws and guidelines. By purchasing from Modern Aminos, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher and will not ingest our products.
What should I do if my order is delayed?
Delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. Once an item leaves our facility it is under the control of the carrier. If there’s a significant delay, we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution, such as discounts or partial refunds.
Modern Aminos ships to the USA and the EU. EU Customers should order through modernaminos.eu. Please note the EU will not have the exact same products as the USA!
Contact us immediately to correct the address. If your order has already shipped, it must be returned to us before reshipping.

We trust Fedex and UPS for all of our shipments to ensure the quickest delivery.

We highly recommend against using shipping forwarders as customers have had tons of issues with them before. Use a shipping forwarder at your own risk.
Orders are typically processed and shipped the same day M-F. As we ship from within the USA, expect fast delivery no matter your chosen payment method. Please note that during global disruptions or holidays, delays may occur due to reduced staff at the courier.

While this is extremely unfortunate we always make it our goal to get products out especially those with expedited shipping as fast as possible. Once a product leaves our warehouse it is out of our control, and at times the postal service takes longer than they should. What if my product arrives damaged?
Email cs@modernaminos.com with your order number, a clear photo of the damage, and a description. We will arrange a free reshipment of the damaged product
Contact us, and we will promptly reship the correct items free of charge.
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, we will resolve any issues with your order promptly.
